	Event Registration	1	T. Guzman	Usually registration opens mid to late April, though it can take longer to arrange all the conventions details with parks and venues, so it can open closer to the event. Information is available on the event listing for the months ahead. Schedule, hotel details so folks can book the host hotels if they want, and other event info. Registration for national events open up 1-2 months ahead of the event. Regional events can often open up much closer to the event date. by J. Willard Monday, January 29, 2024
	How Does Paying Work for Events?	1	A. Deal	Generally events have registration fees which cover the cost of admission, any meals that are included as part of the event, and exclusive ride time if offered. So the average one day event would offer you a ticket to get in, usually a lunch or dinner, and then an hour or so of exclusive ride time when only the group gets to ride a coaster or two. Often events will have a price that is lower if you already have a season or annual pass for the park. Host park usually offer pretty generous deals for the events compared to what you would pay otherwise. by J. Willard Saturday, January 13, 2024

	Ace cares coasting for kids Kennywood and Seaside Hangover at Casino Pier	6	M. Chabanik	All we know is what was GKTW report to for ACE No Coaster Con and ACE Winterfest last month... They are working with parks on the 2022 Coasting For Kids events and will notify ACE when they have confirmed details to report. However, just like in 2021, COVID is complicating things for the parks so it is again taking longer to confirm things than in pre-COVID times.Keep watching the ACE Events page as the info is posted usually within 24 hours when ACE receives the info. by D. 	Coaster Con 2020?	4	D. Lowrey	Hi David. For additional background and to add to what was already posted, Con always starts on Father's Day Sunday. The thing that can change year to year is the length of Coaster Con. It will almost always extend at least through Thursday for sure, and most of the time through Friday. We may have even extended to Saturday before once or twice too. But most of the time it's a Sunday to Friday schedule. I say most of the time, because as you probably noticed, this year's convention officially ends on Thursday. That was mostly because there are only two hosts, and with so many options in Southern California, we wanted to be sure to give attendees time to go to other parks or attractions. by J.
