We welcome you to join us for our annual ACE-DAFE Phantom Fright Night informal event at Kennywood. With the park now open all day for Phantom Fall Fun Fest, this event too has been expanded to include the entire day, though the special activities will generally continue to focus on Kennywood's excellent haunts. During the daytime, enjoy the park's festive food and your favorite rides in the autumn atmosphere, or come when the sun goes down to challenge the park's six haunts and four scare zones -- OR spend the entire day and do both! Given that it's an informal event, participants may arrive and depart as their schedules allow and choose which activities to participate in. Please be aware that on the day of our visit, Kennywood does not allow reentry into the park after 6 p.m. If you leave the park for any reason, be sure to return by 6 p.m. and likewise, if there's anything you need for the evening, such as warm apparel, plan accordingly.

Kennywood is family-friendly (not scary) until 6 p.m. Those with children under age 10 are encouraged to take part in the park's Trick or Treat Scavenger Hunt, from 12 - 6 p.m. Pick up materials at the booth near the paddle boats!

Phantom Fall Fest at Kennywood is very popular, with sizeable crowds and long lines for the evening haunts. ACE Phantom Fright Night attendees will be treated to some exclusive activities related to the haunts! Attendees will enjoy a daytime tour of Voodoo Bayou. Then, attendees will be able to enjoy mALICE three ways! The park's new-for-2022 mALICE in Wonderland has been considerably expanded and is now mALICE in Wonderland Unleashed! Event attendees will (1) enjoy a lights-on tour of the haunt; (2) be the first guests of the evening to enter in dark mode; and (3) cap the experience off with a visit to the second floor and get a birdseye view of the maze as guests go through it. NOTE THAT A WRISTBAND IS REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN THESE EXCLUSIVE ACTIVITIES. ACE and DAFE members and their guests (one guest per member), must stop by Pedro's between 4 and 4:30 p.m. and show their valid membership card to get a wristband. Wristbands must be worn on the left wrist and be visible during all exclusive event activities.

ACE-DAFE Phantom Fright Night is an informal event with no formal registration. However, thanks to Kennywood's gracious cooperation, ACE members and DAFE members who do not have a valid season pass, may purchase discounted tickets on the day of the event at the Guest Services windows at the park entrance. Discounted tickets are $28.99 including all taxes (regularly $74.99 including all taxes). Note that the park does not accept cash -- all payments must be paid with a card. Members must present a valid ACE membership card or DAFE membership card, along with a photo ID (except for children). Discounted tickets may be purchased for non-member guests accompanying members. Each member is limited to one guest.

4 - 4:30 p.m. WRISTBAND PICK-UP at Pedro's (located in Lost Kennywood between The Phantom's Revenge exit and Black Widow). Wristbands must be worn and shown to participate in the three following exclusive activities on the schedule. Attendees must present a valid ACE or DAFE membership card to get a wristband. Wristbands will be provided to guests accompanied by a member (one guest per member, please).

4:45 p.m. Exclusive daytime tour of Voodoo Bayou (wristband required)

5:30 p.m. mALICE in Wonderland three ways! Meet at the EXIT to mALICE in Wonderland Unleashed (show wristband). First, the group will tour it with the lights on, then be the first to experience it in full haunt mode and then will get access to the second level for bird's eye viewing of the haunt in action.

7 p.m. First in line access to Kennyville Cemetery (use RIP Pass line; show wristband)

9:30 p.m. ITOT Ghostwood Estate

10:30 p.m. ITOT The Phantom's Revenge

11 p.m. Park closes

In addition to the attractions included in the schedule, we strongly suggest that you experience Jack Rabbit, Thunderbolt, Sky Rocket, Villa of the Vampires, Dark Shadows and Shady Grove Memorial Hospital along with Dead Light District, Hellbilly Hollow and Fear Festival areas. We suggest experiencing "The Departing" in the park entrance/exit tunnel between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.

ITOTs (Informal Take Over Times) are an ACE Western Pennsylvania tradition during which we gather together as a group to enjoy a selection of the park's unique rides and attractions. If you wish to participate in any particular ITOT, please arrive about five minutes early to meet up with the group before entering the queue line. Large groups can overwhelm other park guests, so please be mindful of and courteous to others while waiting in line.
