Kick off August by joining ACE Western Pennsylvania for our annual event at Waldameer & Water World -- a truly first class traditional park with so much to offer, including the classic 1954 Herb Schmeck-designed Comet, the world's last surviving Bill Tracy Whacky Shack and Ravine Flyer II, which is consistently ranked among the world's top 10 wood coasters. The event will include ERT on all three of these attractions, including coveted dark night rides on Ravine Flyer II, as well as a delicious all-you-can-eat picnic dinner! 9:45 - 10:30 a.m. Event check-in 10:30 a.m. - 12 noon ERT on Comet 10:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. Behind-The-Scenes Experience in Whacky Shack 11:15 a.m. - 12 noon ERT on Whacky Shack 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Water World open to the general public and attendees 12 noon - 9 p.m. Waldameer (rides) open to the general public and attendees 5 - 6 p.m. All-you-can-eat picnic dinner (Chicken Tenders with BBQ Sauce and Ranch Dressing, Polish Sausage in Red Sauce, Smith’s Hot Dogs, Flame-Grilled Hamburgers, Baked Beans, Sauerkraut, Applesauce with Cinnamon, Homemade Macaroni Salad, Homemade Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Carrot & Celery Sticks, Potato Chips, Vanilla Ice Cream Cups, Soft Drinks) 9 - 10 p.m. ERT on Ravine Flyer II ACE Western Pennsylvania’s famous ITOTs (Informal Take-Over Times) of rides will be scheduled throughout the day, and will include Steel Dragon, L. Registration Fees ACE Member - $54.00 Child Member (3-11) - $49.00 Non-member (all ages) - $64.00 ACE Member with Waldameer season pass - $23.00 Non-member with Waldameer season pass (all ages) - $33.00 Non-members may attend only if registered with and accompanied by a member. DAFE (Dark Attraction & Funhouse Enthusiasts) members are welcome to attend this event at member rates. Members of DAFE, who are not ACE members, should indicate "DAFE" in the membership number field. All memberships will be verified. Cancellation Policy: Refunds will be issued less a $10/person cancellation fee if notice is given by July 27, 2023.

NOTE: No materials will be provided in advance. All registration materials are picked up at the event.
There will be NO refunds issued after July 27, 2023. You do not need to print a ticket and bring it with you to the event. Simply use your name to check-in at the event when you arrive.
Ice Cream For Breakfast is back! During morning check-in, attendees will be able to enjoy a tasty ice cream breakfast and simultaneously support a great cause. The ice cream is generously donated and served by ACE volunteers in exchange for donations with 100% benefiting Give Kids The World (GKTW), a nonprofit “storybook” resort village in central Florida, close to the theme parks, that exclusively hosts families of children with life-threatening illnesses for cost-free vacations. The SureStay Plus by Best Western is the closest major hotel to Waldameer & Water World and is in close proximity to a number of restaurants as well as Presque Isle State Park on the shores of Lake Erie. All rooms include pillow-top mattresses, coffee/tea makers and flat screen HDTVs; and mini fridges and microwaves are available in most rooms. The hotel offers a business center, outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi and a complimentary full hot breakfast. Driving time to Waldameer is just a few minutes for the one-mile commute. Rate is $155.00 per night (plus 13% tax) for up to four persons per room and includes a full hot breakfast. Rooms with two queen beds are blocked for the nights of August 4 and 5. Deadline for reservations is July 4, 2023 to guarantee the rate. Rooms are limited and subject to availability, so reserve early. The discounted rate may be honored after the deadline if rooms are available. Cancellations: Room reservations made at the special rate may be cancelled up until 4 p.m. the day prior to arrival, without penalty.
