Join the American Coaster Enthusiasts of Eastern Pennsylvania for the return of Merry ACEmas on Friday, December 1, 2023! The event will look a little different this year because we are trying out something completely new! The event will start at Cointaker which is located in Sunbury, PA and will feature a festive holiday meal, tasty drinks, ugly sweater contest, ornament decorating and all you can play games. Attendees also have the option to purchase admission to Knoebels' Joy Through the Grove drive thru holiday light display.

This event is only for ACE members and their guests! Event registration is required to participate in all of the activities organized and hosted by the American Coaster Enthusiasts, Knoebels and Cointaker.

Cointaker is a local event center, arcade and pinball retail/repair shop. The holiday party will include a festive meal, unlimited game play on the basketball game, air hockey, aliens battle and more, 2 tokens for the pinball games, ornament decorating and some seasonal fun with your fellow friends of ACE. The venue features several pinball machines and your tokens can be used for these pinball games. You can also purchase additional tokens to continue playing. It takes approximately 20 minutes to drive from Cointaker to Knoebels.

Enjoy 2 miles of holiday cheer at Knoebels Joy Through the Grove, that takes you down a winding path dazzled with twinkling lights, 500 illuminated pieces and several custom Knoebels-themed displays. You’ll begin your merry journey near the Impulse roller coaster to see the park and much of the campground in a whole new light! Pricing is per carload of 1-8 passengers.

5:30 PM: Knoebels Joy Through the Grove opens

Inclement weather, equipment problems or other unforeseen circumstances may affect the above schedule. The park will do its best to provide ride times and rides as listed however, the schedule of events remains tentative and is subject to change based on the park's operational status and local health restrictions at the time of the event. A catered dinner: All-You-Care-To-Eat: Sliced turkey, meatballs, baked ziti, mashed potatoes, vegetables and salad with hot chocolate, coffee, tea and water.
2 hours of free game play (basketball game, air hockey, aliens battle and more
2 tokens for the pinball machines
Ornament decorating: Create and decorate your own holiday ornament. We'll supply the blank ornament and you supply the festive cheer!
Ugly sweater contest: We want to see your ugly holiday sweaters! To be eligible, you must wear a holiday or winter themed sweater, sweatshirt, sweater vest or jacket to the event.
Holiday Cookie Table: We're encouraging members to bring their own festive holiday dessert treats!  What type of treat should you bring? Think of something that's easy to hold like cookies, bars, ladylocks, macarons and brownies. Items like cupcakes and cakes can be delicious but also messy. Please contact NAME / EMAIL if you would like to volunteer to bring something to the party!

Registration Directions:
There is no late or day of registration option for this event. You must be an active member of ACE to attend or be accompanied by a member who is also registered to attend the event. If only non-members are listed on the registration, please indicate the name of the registered member of whom you are a guest.

No mail in registration will be available for this event. No materials will be sent to you in advance. All materials (admission ticket, etc.) will be provided to you at the event. An email with information about attending the event will be sent to you shortly before the event.

Anyone who purchases an admission ticket for Joy Through the Grove may pick up their ticket at Cointaker from 5-7 p.m..
