Join us
before Lone Star Coasterthon on the evening of Friday, August 26th for
our first event at Prairie Playland in Grand Prairie!
Located
within Traders Village, Prairie Playland is home to several rides and
opening soon will be Prairie Screamer, which previously operated as
Screamer at Scandia Amusement Park in Ontario California for nearly 25
years. Built by Fred Miler, Prairie Screamer stands 90 ft tall with a 80
ft drop and has speeds up to 50mph. While it is not quite ready to open
yet, attendees will be treated to a tour of the ride during the event
and be updated with the latest status of the ride.
Prairie
Playland will be open from 6pm-10pm just for ACE and pizza and water
will be provided. Everyone in attendance will also receive a ticket for a
chance to win some door prizes. Parking is free for attendees (normally
$5)
Check-in begins at 6pm. Event ends at 10pm.
