Top off your Thanksgiving weekend with the tenth annual installment of Kennywood Park's Holiday Lights! The park is decorated with hundreds of thousands of holiday lights. Discount tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the event, from 4 to 7 p.m. Attendees with a valid ticket (or eligible season pass) will enjoy early admission AND some special activities including 30 minutes of ERT on Jack Rabbit; the first-ever tour inside of The Exterminator, which turned 20 years old in 2019 (a tour was scheduled for ACE Holiday Magic that year, but park didn't open on the day of the event, owing to an unfavorable weather forecast); and expedited boarding for a train ride. There will, of course, also be a number of ITOTs (Informal Take Over Times) on various rides.  If temperatures for the evening are expected to be below 40 degrees, ACE Western Pennsylvania will provide a limited number of complimentary hand-warmers to event attendees. Note that special activities are contingent of favorable weather conditions. In the event of snow, sleet or rain, other activities may be substituted.

NOTE THAT A WRISTBAND IS REQUIRED FOR EARLY ADMISSION TO THE PARK AND TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EXCLUSIVE ACTIVITIES. Prior to entering the park, ACE members and their guests, whether purchasing a ticket or using a season pass, must present a valid ACE membership card along with photo ID (except for children) at the Group Sales windows at the front gate, to get their wristband. Wristbands must be worn on the left wrist in order to enter the park prior to 5 p.m. and be visible during all exclusive event activities.

Kennywood is graciously offering ACE members a reduced park admission price of $16.99 (inclusive of $1 amusement tax) to attend this event, a $14 savings off the walk-up gate price. Beginning at 4 p.m. on the day of the event, ACE members may purchase discounted tickets at the park's Group Sales windows (at the front gate) by presenting a valid ACE membership card and may purchase tickets for guests as well, at the discounted rate. Discounted ticket sales end at 7 p.m. Discounted tickets are valid this night only. Cash or credit cards are accepted. Eligible season pass holders may also use their season pass to enter the park. 

Event attendees are welcome to use a valid season pass to enter the park and may still participate in the event, as long as they have a wristband (see "Early Magic" section).  Attendees with season passes are responsible for understanding the benefits of their season pass and knowing if it's valid during Holiday Lights. 4 - 10 p.m.  Discounted ticket sales and wristbands available for ACE Members and their guests available at the Group Sales windows at the front entrance.

4:15 p.m.Attendees with a valid ticket or valid season pass may enter the park (wristband must be visibly worn on the left wrist).

4 - 4:30 p.m. ERT on Jack Rabbit (weather permitting) (wristband must be visibly worn on the left wrist).

5 p.m. Gather near the exit of Jack Rabbit for attendees to be led as a group to The Exterminator (wristband must be visibly worn on the left wrist).

~5 p.m. Tour inside The Exterminator (wristband must be visibly worn on the left wrist).

~5:30 p.m.  Attendees will be led as a group to Journey with Thomas for expedited boarding (wristband must be visibly worn on the left wrist)

5:40 p.m.  Meet at the Big Tree (located next to the Aero 360) for the Tree Lighting Ceremony

6 p.m.  ITOT on Ghostwood Estate

6:30 p.m.  ITOT on Noah's Ark

7 p.m.  Holiday Light show (Meet in the midway between Jack Rabbit and Racer in front of Santa.)

8 p.m. ITOT on Auto Race

8:15 p.m. Miniature Train Display (Located in the Penny Arcade)

9 p.m.  ITOT on Merry-Go-Round

ACE Western Pennsylvania takes no responsibility for any decisions by the park should it choose not to open or close early due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, and likewise if weather or other issues prohibit one or more of the event's activities from taking place. If the park does not open, the event will be considered cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
