Join ACE Western Pennsylvania as we visit Kennywood for the park's 73rd annual Fall Fantasy Parade. ACE members will have the opportunity to represent ACE by marching in the parade on the evening of our visit (see section below). This is an INFORMAL EVENT! There is no registration and no RSVP necessary, other than to sign up to participate in the parade if you do so. To attend, simply visit Kennywood that day! Unlike previous ACE Fall Fantasy events, this year, ACE members will be walking in the parade instead of riding in the trolley. There is no limit to the number of participants, but only current ACE members are eligible and advance sign-up is required (see "Register" section below). Participants must be in the park by 5 p.m. Members using wheelchairs and ECVs are welcome to take part. Participating members will be asked to wear ACE shirts if they have them. The deadline for registering is Friday, August 18. Additionally, Kennywood has graciously offered a limited number of complimentary park admission tickets for ACE members who are not season passholders, and wish to commit to joining us in the parade! If you are an ACE member, don't have a season pass that's valid at Kennywood and would be interested in receiving a complimentary ticket, check off the appropriate box when registering for the event (see "Register" section below). Complimentary tickets will be issued in the order requested, as supplies last. All those requesting a complimentary admission ticket will be contacted by email. 11:00 a.m. Kennywood opens 2:30 p.m. ITOT on Whip 3:15 p.m. ITOT on Noah's Ark 3:45 p.m. ITOT on Kangaroo 4:30 p.m. ITOT on Jack Rabbit 5:00 p.m. ITOT on Old Mill 6:00 p.m. Fall Fantasy Parade begins 7:15 p.m. ITOT on Phantom's Revenge 8:00 p.m. Kennywood closes - gather at Turtle for a Mini ERT, to be the last riders on Turtle before it closes for the season to undergo its preservation restoration! ITOTs (Informal Take Over Times) are an ACE Western Pennsylvania tradition. If you plan to take part in the ITOTs, gather near the ride's entrance within five minutes of the scheduled ITOT time, wait and enter the queue line as a group with your fellow ACE members! Please be mindful of other guests waiting to ride, as groups can often overwhelm others. There is no fee to register for ACE Fall Fantasy 2023, but please take note of the following: - Event registration is only for those wishing to represent ACE in the Fall Fantasy Parade. Anyone planning to join us in the park that day but not participate in the parade should simply show up, without registering!
- Due to the nature of this event, participation is strictly limited to current ACE members. Membership numbers are required, and all memberships will be verified.
- Members who do not have a season pass valid at Kennywood and are interested in receiving a complimentary park admission ticket for the day of the event should check off the appropriate box to indicate such.
- Recipients of complimentary admission tickets will be chosen by lottery.
- All who check off box to indicate interest in a complimentary park admission ticket will be contacted via email by ACE Western Pennsylvania Regional Representative Bill Linkenheimer (blinkenheimer@aceonline.org) on or shortly after August 15 to be notified if they'll be receiving a complimentary admission ticket.
- To be eligible to receive a complimentary park admission ticket, the deadline is Monday, August 14, at 11:59 p.m.
- Friday, August 18, at 11:59 p.m. is the final day to register.
- All attendees will be contacted by email to confirm their participation and provide information on participating in the Fall Fantasy Parade.
