Wild Waves Theme & Water Park in Federal Way, Washington will be participating in World Roller Coaster Appreciation Month's "World’s Longest Ride!" event, which will be on Friday, June 16, 2023. This annual event was created to celebrate the opening of the first modern roller coaster in America: LaMarcus Thompson's Switchback Railway, which opened June 16, 1884, at Coney Island.

Once participants are confirmed, riders will need to check in no later than 10 AM on Friday, June 16. After signing a photo release, you will get to ride on Timberhawk: Ride of Prey as it gets dispatched precisely at 11 AM. This will be the largest simultaneous dispatch of coasters around the world to celebrate the Switchback Railway anniversary. Furthermore, we'll celebrate the 20th anniversary of operation for Timberhawk!
