World’s Largest Coaster Club
Celebrates Preservation and Innovation

Orlando, FL (November 19, 2024) - American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE), the world’s largest ride enthusiast group, celebrates its members while also honoring history and the promising future of the amusement industry. In 2024, ACE members from around the world came together to ride roller coasters and grow friendships at the ACE Spring Conference in Ohio, the Preservation Conference in Iowa and Missouri and the flagship event, Coaster Con 46, which took place in northern California. Industry guests entertained and educated attendees with presentations while park hosts provided unforgettable adventures that are best experienced at ACE events. The ACE International Trip traveled throughout Belgium, Germany, Poland and The Netherlands and featured a presentation a each park so ACE could honor those welcoming the sell-out group. In addition to the national events, nearly 100 regional events were hosted across the globe, as well as digital events, which allow our members to connect and converse about roller coasters from home.

The fourth annual World’s Largest Coaster Ride simultaneously dispatched more than 300 people on roller coasters at 22 amusement parks across the United States on June 16. This annual event, part of World Roller Coaster Appreciation Month, celebrates the opening day of the first modern roller coaster in 1884, LaMarcus Thompson’s Switchback Railway at Coney Island. Continuing with the tradition of honoring preservation, three roller coasters were designated ACE Roller Coaster Landmarks, one at Adventureland Park in Iowa and two at Pleasure Beach Resort in England. ACE also donated more than $40,000 to four different parks in California, Florida, Oklahoma and West Virginia to help with their preservation efforts and longevity.

Looking to the future while highlighting the past, ACE premiered its latest feature documentary, “The Legacy of Schwarzkopf,” to an enthusiastic audience. Exploring the important contributions of Anton Schwarkopf, the documentary will continue to be shown at screenings around the world before debuting to a wide audience on ACE’s YouTube channel in 2025.

About ACE: With more than 7,000 members worldwide, ACE is the largest and longest-running enthusiast organization in the world. Members of ACE receive exclusive park benefits, newsletters and magazines and the opportunity to attend national, local and even international tours at parks. ACE hosts more than 75 national and regional coaster events across North America annually and has been prominently featured on various news programs and cable networks such as the Travel Channel.
