World’s Largest Coaster Club Visits Kings Island

ACE Spring Con 2024

Kings Island, Ohio (May 17, 2024) This weekend, 751 members from 32 states plus Washington, DC, as well as two Canadian provinces and the United Kingdom will be celebrating their love of roller coasters during the ACE Spring Conference at Kings Island in Ohio.

Attendees will experience unique opportunities during the conference, such as one-of-a-kind, behind-the-scenes tours, exclusive ride time (ERT) before and after the park’s regular operating hours, presentations by the park and The Gravity Group, live ACE Ride With Us Podcast recording and reconnecting with friends while celebrating roller coasters. This weekend is the first time that ACE has visited Kings Island for a national event in 10 years, and the sell-out attendance is double the amount of attendees as that during the previous visit. The two most attended Spring Conferences in ACE’s history have taken place at this 364-acre park. Kings Island is currently home to 14 roller coasters, including two ACE Roller Coaster Landmarks, one of which is the world’s longest wooden roller coaster. A 15th roller coaster, Snoopy’s Soap Box Racers, is being constructed in the reimagined Camp Snoopy area of the park and is a family coaster from Vekoma that will travel forward and backward.

“Kings Island is a park that is a must visit for roller coaster fans. Many enthusiasts found their love for coasters here, and I am so excited that ACE is gathering to honor The Beast’s 45th anniversary, as it still holds the record for longest wooden roller coaster on the planet. Another highlight of the weekend will be watching the classic Brady Bunch episode that was filmed at Kings Island together in a large group,” shared ACE Communications Director Derek Perry.
