At No Coaster Con today, Six Flags Over Georgia made an unexpected announcement: for 2023, they’re opening a pair of brand-new family coasters by Skyline Attractions! As Six Flags Over Georgia’s 12th and 13th coasters, these will replace the Splashwater
Falls shoot-the-chute ride.
These family coasters will be intertwined with one another, meaning that passengers on one side will duck under or cross over the opposing side - during their ride, no less than eleven times. Passengers climb to a height of 25 feet and then, depending
on which side they’re riding, wind through 550 or 574 feet of twisted, dueling excitement. In addition, both tracks will utilize Skyline’s new lighting package, Aurora. Using LED panels mounted onto the track, these coasters will be eye-catching in
the daytime and illuminating in the nighttime.
What is No Coaster Con?
No Coaster Con is an event hosted by American Coaster Enthusiasts. Unlike most roller enthusiast events, this event is held in the off-season - when parks are closed - so no rides are open to enjoy. Instead, various parks present the progress on their
coming attractions and other enhancements for the coming season. As most new rides for next year are announced in the summertime, Six Flags Over Georgia’s announcement was quite the surprise to many.
