On Wednesday, July 28, 2021, the word came directly in a live feed from Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio. Coming to the park in 2022 is Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger, a Bolliger & Mabillard dive coaster.

At 150 feet tall, the coaster will have the world’s steepest drop for a dive coaster, 95 degrees, a second, near-vertical 75-foot drop. Track length of 2,501 feet will include elements such as a 270-degree zero G-roll, a high-speed spiral and some serious
airtime. Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger will reach speeds up to 60 mph.
