Day 2 of the IAAPA Expo 2024 started off with nothing short of exciting announcements and innovative projects.

Bright and early at 10 a.m., RWS Global shared its plans to open two new offices in Shanghai and Orlando. The company also announced former Paramount executive Veronica Hart will be assuming a new chief growth officer role. In addition, RWS Global created
a new strategic partnership with leading creators from Max-Matching Entertainments.

The Belgium-based company Alterface then showed off its latest project, which will feature “interactive technology, cutting-edge experience design and immersive storytelling.” Some of its featured tools included the CartBox system, which offers an “onboard
controller for ride vehicles that supports an infinite array of interactive devices as well as audio feedback systems, creating highly customizable and synchronized soundscapes.” Also mentioned was the GunBox system, which would “streamline
maintenance and calibration, allowing operators to test and adjust interactive systems with efficiency and ease, even during operational hours.”

Next, White Water announced its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification, which ensures partners and clients that measures are being taken to minimize negative impacts on the environment. Its Yas Waterworld expansion in collaboration
with Miral would introduce 18 new rides and 3.3 km of slide path, and increase guest capacity by 20% in 2025. White Water currently has several projects scheduled for 2025 and was happy to celebrate CEO Geoff Chutter being inducted into IAAPA’s Hall
of Fame.
Morgan’s Wonderland introduced Morgan’s Inclusion Institute. This will offer disability inclusion training, customer service tools, customized scalable plans that can be tailored to meet the needs of different industries, consultants, an inclusion assessment
during which current practices can be evaluated, and an ultra-accessibility certification program. “Morgan’s Inclusion Institute is designed to share valuable insights and best practices with businesses, organizations, nonprofits, government entities,
and individuals eager to integrate inclusion and accessibility into every facet of their work and life,” CEO Brent Fields, commented in a press release.
Triotech won an IAAPA Brass Ring for its interactive dark ride roller coaster, Primordial at Lagoon Amusement Park. This ride was praised for its original storytelling, immersive surroundings and innovative technology.
Throughout the day, special guests and new visitors from Vekoma, NDE Incorporated, Built to Thrill, Accelerated Creative and Knoebels stopped by the ACE booth, eager to learn about ACE. Leadership visitors and fellow exhibitors dropped off gifts and learned
about how ACE can be a partner in 2025.
