The COVID-19 virus outbreak has forced Kennywood to cancel its top end-of-season attractions this year: Fall Fantasy Festival, Phantom Fright Nights and Happy Hauntings. The West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, amusement park has also announced that it is postponing Jack Rabbit's centennial celebration until next year.

Kennywood, which will open for the season on July 11, will extend its season this year. The park will be open for summer-style operations on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from October 2 until November 1.

Several other special events, including the Pittsburgh Pierogi Festival and Holiday Lights, remain on the calendar for now.
