SeaWorld Orlando in November?

My fiance and I are planning a SeaWorld and Aquatica trip for November 18th-21st. One of the days we will also be attending Fun Spot and staying for the Legacy of Schwarzkopf screening, and possibly attending the IAAPA expo one day. I have been wanting to visit the IAAPA expo for years now, but ever since Pipeline's trains were revealed a few years ago at the expo I have been dreaming of getting to go and photograph and be on the inside. But that's besides the point, for my fellow Floridian's from the Orlando side, what is that week in November usually like? We are staying at the SW hotel as well if theres any added benefits I might not know. Wondering if we should buy fast passes? Also hoping to try and meet up with other thoosies!

Going to Disneyland & D23 Expo for my birthday this year... is anyone else going to D23 Expo?

Will also probably hit Knott's Berry Farm during this trip - been to the marketplace stores but I haven't been inside Knott's Berry Farm since around 1982 with my family as a kid so any advice/suggestions are welcome.

Anyone travelling by car from the west coast to Texas

I'm putting out a question and feeler to anyone who will be travelling by car from the west coast, Nevada, Arizona, etc. to Texas. I'm trying to get my model roller coaster driven to the Roller Coaster Museum in Plainview, Texas. The model is too expensive to ship by a common carrier. It would fit in most van type cars. As the weather starts to get slightly warmer, us here in the North Central Regional, in particular are getting more excited for Lost Island Theme Park to open this summer. They have begun to test rides. My son and I have made frequent drives past the park as we live in Waterloo.

Has ACE considered publishing a map of all the amusement and theme parks in the US? It would be helpful when I travel to figure out what routes to take if I want to stop at a park along the way. The map could include a list of where the ACE landmark coasters are for those who want to check those out, and perhaps other information relevant to ACE and its members, such as which parks have ACE events regularly.

Hello all, It’s the last open weekend of the season at CW and I am flying over from the states. I got a Cedar Fair Platinum Pass and want to utilize it one last time for the season. I was wondering if any veterans had any must do tips, points of interest or potentially want to tag along? Other things I am considering are, parking (car rental), fast pass and hotel stay. Overnight parking near Knott's & Magic Mountain?

We are planning to spend two days at both Knott's Berry Farm and Magic Mountain next week. We are in our van and we were hoping to be able to spend the night between days 1 & 2 at each location parked somewhere instead of having to find a campground or hotel. 1st Trip to Six Flags Great Adventure Next Weekend

My son and I are flying to NY next weekend to visit Six Flags Great Adventure for the 1st time. Looking for some tips and insight from ACE members who have visited the Park recently. We have season passes to Six Flags so we know about the member entrance line. We plan on riding Kingda Ka first, debating on buying the Flash pass since it might rain that day. Looking for anything that you learned the hard way.

California Great America - How busy over Labor Day?

Hello all!

We live in SoCal and are looking at a Labor day trip up to CA Great America. It will be our and our tween son's first time to the park and it's a 5 hour drive for us.

Timing-wise, Labor Day is a great weekend for us to go. Crowd-wise, I'm not so sure. They're offering free admission to all first responders which is amazing but might make it crazy-town in terms of the # of visitors.

Have any of you been there over Labor Day weekend before? Any thoughts on how busy it could be and if it's even worth the drive?

A question about a coaster I once rode

I once rode a coaster that seemed to go right through a pond. The pond was actually in two pieces, and the coaster track went below ground level, right between the two pieces, a very good effect. I thought it was in Hershey Park, but we were just there, and no such coaster. It doesn't seem to be on the list of closed coasters at Hershey Park either. Can anyone help with what coaster this might have been? It was definitely in the northeastern or eastern US.

I'm planning a trip to Cedar Point in June, but I'm nut sure how to get from the airport to Cedar Point.

I'd like to avoid renting a car, since:

1. I'm not planning to drive much
2. I'm going to be in Ohio for about a week.
3. My relatives are meeting me there and they are driving, so I can ride with them if I really need to.

CP doesn't have a shuttle from any of the "local" airports. Here's what I'm looking at:

1. Suck it up; rent car.
2. Get picked up from airport and dropped off by relatives - preferred option, but is inconvenient to them.
3. Taxi - probably going to be really expensive
4. Bus? I'm not familiar with Ohio's transit system
5. Something else?

Has anyone got any advice on the best option?
