New coasters under construction

Watching POV's Before Actually Riding

I've been back and forth on whether or not I should watch POV's of new coasters before I actually ride them or not. Part of me wants it to be a surprise, but I also feel like it might not even make a difference. What are your thoughts?

Banshee will be the world's longest inverted roller coaster in debuting in 2014 at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio. There will be 7 inversions featuring a Curved Drop, Dive Loop, Looping interacting with the lift, Zero-G-Roll, Batwing, Outside Loop, Spiral, In-Line-Roll, and Carousel. The length of the world record-breaking-coaster is 4124.1 ft. of track!

GateKeeper!!!!

Ok, so since we are a part of ACE, and since I am still new and don't know if this is stupid of me to ask or not, can we get ERT on the GateKeeper at Cedar Point for like an hour please? How can I be the first one to ride it? Afterall, I am an American Coaster Enthusiast. hahaha

I am one of those people who would love to have the opportunity to ride the Millennium Force or the Maverick especially, but even a ride like the Mean Streak for hours at a time. I wish to be one of those rollercoaster marathoners. How can I be?!

But anyway, I am looking forward to this new ride and I cannot wait for it. I'd love to hear other people's thoughts.

My ongoing construction coverage of the Fun Spot America expansion can be found here. http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/new2013.html .. The latest info is they are shooting for a June 8th opening. With possible rides open earlier.

Wheelie from SFOG has shown up last week. The 250 sky coaster has been erected. The suspended coaster supports have gone up with track getting installed. White Lightning is moving forward with bents ready to go up.

Latest update is from Feb. 24th, with my next update on March 10th.

Full Throttle

Hi does any one know if Six Flags Magic Mt.will have a spring event this year? If so would it include Full Throttle? I am not sure when it is suposed to open or how construction is going. Also will Knotts have their event on the same weekend again this year? I am hoping on making the trip next year.Thanks
