This year's Preservation Conference takes ACE back to the Midwest to celebrate the preservation of an entire amusement park and two classic wooden coasters at a second park. The conference runs from May 10 to May 12, 2019, at Kentucky Kingdom, Louisville, Kentucky, and Camden Park, Huntington, West Virginia.

Join ACE as we celebrate the tenacity of Kentucky Kingdom, which has been twice resurrected by Park President and Partner Ed Hart, who has continued to see the potential in the Louisville property. Kentucky Kingdom features a variety of coasters including the airtime-laden Thunder Run, one of the few remaining Dinn and Summers wooden coasters. T3 has the distinctive honor of being the first Vekoma SLC in North America. Storm Chaser is a Rocky Mountain Construction remake of the original Twisted Twins coaster from 1998. Lightning Run is currently the only Chance Rides Hyper GT-X Coaster in existence. Its small stature belies the intense ride experience. New for the 2019 season is Kentucky Flyer, a family-style wooden coaster from The Gravity Group that is currently under construction.

Camden Park dates back to 1903 and is home to two ACE Coaster Classics, Big Dipper and Lil' Dipper. Both are historic wooden coasters built more than 50 years ago by the National Amusement Device Company. Big Dipper will be honored as the newest ACE Roller Coaster Landmark during the event. The historic park features more than 30 attractions, including several classic rides such as a miniature train, Hopkins log flume, gravity Pretzel Haunted House, Mangels Whip, Sellner Tilt-A-Whirl and a 1925 Spillman Engineering carousel.
