Roller Coaster Group to Tour Central Texas and Gulf Coast

NEW BRAUNFELS, SAN ANTONIO & KEMAH, TX – More than one-hundred roller coaster
enthusiasts from across North America will caravan to Schlitterbahn Waterpark Resort, Six Flags Fiesta
Texas, SeaWorld San Antonio and Kemah Boardwalk to extend their Coaster Con XXXIV event at Six
Flags Over Texas with a tour of central Texas and Gulf Coast attractions June 23-26, 2011. The four-day
traveling celebration of all things roller coaster and waterslide, the first ever Tour of Texas for American
Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE), will start Thursday at Schlitterbahn – the #1 rated waterpark in the world
according to Amusement Today's annual Golden Ticket Awards. The tour will move on to San Antonio
for visits at Six Flags Fiesta Texas on Friday and SeaWorld San Antonio on Saturday. The tour will
conclude at Kemah Boardwalk in Kemah, Texas on Sunday. Highlights of the ACE Tour of Texas
include hours and hours of riding roller coasters and water rides.
The roller coaster and water ride aficionados in attendance are eager to get their fill of floating "airtime"
sensations, spine-tingling slides and exhilarating bursts of speed during the Exclusive Ride Time (ERT)
and Exclusive Splash Time (EST) sessions on roller and water coasters. Included in the lineup are ERT
and EST rides on the Dragon's Revenge and the #1 rated Master Blaster at Schlitterbahn, the floorless
Superman Krypton Coaster at Fiesta Texas, the super-slithery Steel Eel at SeaWorld and the wooden
Boardwalk Bullet at Kemah Boardwalk. Many are here for other reasons too. Attendees will enjoy
camaraderie with like-minded people and share stories of coasters ridden in all corners of the world as
many ACE members have traveled to Europe, Central America and Asia to enjoy that next great thrill.
Anywhere there is a coaster, you will find an ACEer. ACEers will also enjoy an a hot tub party at
Schlitterbahn, reserved seating for shows at Fiesta Texas and SeaWorld and Boardwalk Beast speedboat
rides at Kemah Boardwalk.
