This summer, ACE held its biannual elections for the positions of President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. After contests in the Presidential and Secretarial races between highly qualified candidates, the members have spoken and the results are as follows:
President: Mark Cole- reelected to a second term; previously served as vice-president for four years and was chair of the Disciplinary Committee during that time; and prior to that as registration director for four years.
Vice President: David Altman- reelected to a second term; previously served as treasurer for four years; also currently on the Finance Committee and chairs the disciplinary Committee; and serves as an assistant regional rep for ACE Western Pennsylvania.
Secretary: Bill Linkenheimer III- reelected to a second term; previously served as president for four years; vice-president for four year, and registration director for one year; has served as interim PR director on two occasions; currently regional rep for ACE Western Pennvylania; honorary member.
Treasurer: Bill Graves- ACE member since 1992; has been active in ACE and on the merchandise committee for several years handling sales of back issues of Roller Coaster! magazine.
As can be seen, the incumbent retained all positions except for Treasurer, which was vacated by Jerry Willard who had reached his two-term limit. The electorates officially take their positions on September 15, and at that time a new EC, which is likely to include some new faces, will be implemented as well.
