Membership Benefits

Membership dues for ACE are $60 per year for an individual, slightly more for a couple, family, and corporate memberships. Multi-year discounts are also available. During the membership year, members receive the following benefits:

• All memberships have the right to vote in any ACE election.
• All memberships receive our publications: ACE News (our bi-monthly newsletter) and RollerCoaster! (our quarterly color magazine).
• Members will be able to attend all ACE events at reduced registration rates. Events typically include Exclusive Ride Time (ERT) and discounts for lodging.
• Many parks also host special events and invite members of ACE and other amusement park related clubs. Many of these events also include ERT.
• Discounts for advertising in our publications and on our web site.
• Access to the ACE membership directory.
• Access to member-only content on our web site.

Park Discounts for ACE Members

Some parks offer discounts or special privileges to all ACE members. The following discounts are offered for 2008 with a valid ACE membership card.

• Carowinds (Charlotte, NC): Show your ACE membership card at a Carowinds ticket booth in 2008 and receive $15 off an adult regular price admission ticket. This offer excludes Scarowinds and other special ticketed events.
• Dollywood (Pigeon Forge, TN): Show your ACE membership card at a ticket booth and receive $5 off the regular ticket price to Dollywood and Dolly's Splash Country.
• Family Kingdom (Myrtle Beach, SC): Show your ACE membership card at the park office located under the Swamp Fox roller coaster and receive a wristband for an all day pass to the amusement park rides for $13.
• Holiday World (Santa Claus, IN) offers discounted admission all season.

  • General Admission Guests-under-54" and Seniors (60+) after 3 pm: $19.95

• Indiana Beach (Monticello, IN): Show your ACE membership card and receive a 50% discount off a ride pass. This discount is not valid on holidays.
• Kings Island (Cincinnati, OH): Show your ACE membership card and receive a $10 discount. Kings Island offers a walkback for the first ride of the day on The Beast. The walkback is open to all ACE members and a guest. The walkback meets daily at The Kings Island Theater, located to the left of the front gate. Meet no later than 9:45 a.m. and head into the park for the first ride on The Beast each day.
• Playland (Vancouver, BC): Playland has generously set up a season-long discount for ACE members! Simply purchase your discounted tickets online and use promotion code “08ACE”. You can purchase discounted day passes or season passes on the site, so you can visit the park as often as you’d like! (Prices listed are Canadian currency.)

Other Discounts for ACE Members

Enterprise Rent-A-Car offers ACE members discounts on the cost of a car rental. In addition, a portion of the rental cost will be donated to ACE's Museum Fund. ACE members: Login to view details for the discount.

Additional Benefits for Corporate Members

Corporate members receive all of the above membership benefits plus the following:

• Any two employees may attend ACE events at the member rate.
• A corporate membership certificate suitable for framing.
• Parks that are corporate members receive free hosting of their park-sponsored events on our web site.
• Special recognition of your company in ACE's booth at the IAAPA tradeshow and other industry functions.
