Banshee will debut next year at Kings Island, and she will be the world's longest inverted roller coaster.
"She"? Yes! As the first female-inspired thrill ride at a Cedar Fair Entertainment amusement park, Banshee will send riders screaming through 4,124.1 feet of track and seven mind-bending inversions at speeds up to 68 miles per hour. Bolliger & Mabillard, renowned for coasters with smooth rides, comfortable seats and restraints, reliability, low maintenance, impeccable safety records and ride capacity, was chosen to create the coaster.
Banshee's layout is specially designed for Kings Island and will have a list of elements such as Curved Drop, Dive Loop, Zero-G-Roll, Batwing, Outside Loop, Spiral and In-Line-Roll, as well as a loop interacting with the lift hill.
