State-Of-The-Art Roller Coaster Train Arrives!

Quassy Amusement Park, Middlebury, Connecticut, took delivery April 7, 2011, of its new state-of-the-art Timberliner roller coaster train from Gravitykraft Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio. The six-car train will be placed on the park’s new marquee Wooden Warrior coaster, which was designed by The Gravity Group of Cincinnati (Gravitykraft is a sister firm).

Quassy will feature the first Timberliner train to run on a new coaster in the United States. Unique features of the train include the ability to better maneuver sharp curves and banked turns, thereby providing a more comfortable ride. In addition, the restraint system adjusts to the size of the individual in each seat.
