SeaWorld San Diego To Get Electric Eel

SeaWorld San Diego, San Diego, California, announced it will begin building a new roller coaster immediately after the plans were approved on Wednesday, August 10, by the California Coastal Commission. To be named Electric Eel, the coaster will be 150 feet tall and will feature loops, twists and airtime and will be painted with a skylike color scheme so that it blends in with natural surroundings.

The construction of the roller coaster and accompanying facilities is expected to take nine months and the coaster is being planned to be launched in summer 2018.
