Coaster designer Ron Toomer passed away on September 26, 2011, at the age of 81. Included among his 93 creations are Runaway Mine Train at Six Flags Over Texas, Magnum XL-200, Gemini and Corkscrew at Cedar Point and Viper at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
